Hyderabad: After “lucky” saplings, interiors of Telangana Bhavan including Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s and other party leaders’ offices have got a face lift.
As one enters the building, a huge smiling portrait of Mr flanked by those of Telangana Talli and the TS memorial and a bust of Telan-gana ideologue Prof. A. Jayashanker greets people.
Telangana Bhavan, headquarters of the TRS on Road No 10, Banjara Hills, has been renovated with ultra modern facilities.
The wooden boards displaying names of artists, cuisines, art and culture, dialects, jatras, festivals, irrigation projects and others dating from the statehood agitation days have been replaced with more attractive boards.
The building over a period of time was in bad state with the false ceiling coming off and many parts of the building chipped off.

Next time Mr Rao visits party office, he will sit in the plush office. A modern mini conference hall with power point presentation facilities has been set up adjacent to it. There is a hall for press conferences and a visitors’ room.
The renovated convention hall with new audio system can accommodate 500 people and will be used for TRS Legislature Party and other party meetings. The total area is about 40,000 sq ft and the building has about 50 rooms.
Mr K.T. Rama Rao, Mayor Bonthu Rammo-han and others inspected the Bhavan and planned the renovation works.
