HYDERABAD, JULY 12, 2012: Unidentified persons attacked the Filmnagar office of actor Jr NTR on Thursday, creating a stir in film and political circles here.

Windows were broken as the miscreants threw stones at the building at midnight, sources said.

The attack comes close on the heels of Gudivada Telugu Desam legislator Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao alias Nani, a close friend of Jr NTR and Mr Harikrishna, lashing out at party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for suspending him from the party for calling on YSR Congress leaders Y.S. Vijayalakshmi and Jagan Mohan Reddy.

It might be recalled that two days back, Mr Naidu had exhorted workers to retaliate against those who had benefited from the party and were planning to quit.

However, TD media committee member L.V.S.R.K. Prasad said, “Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu strongly condemns the attack on Jr NTR’s office at Filmnagar.”

TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu had earlier urged his party to retaliate against those who were planning to quit.

However, a party leader said that Mr Naidu actually condemned the attack on Jr NTR’s office.
