Bathukamma-Dasara Navarathrulu organised by Resident Women of Gopanpally Journalist Colony from September 21 to October 2, 2025--At Home

Resident Women of Gopanpally Journalist Colony, Ranga Reddy district celebrated Bathukamma and Dasara Navarathrulu with Chandi Homam. 

This is the first time such a programme was organised on such a large scale by women residents. The architect of the entire programme are Mrs Uma Kailash, Mrs Padma Prashanth Reddy, Mrs G Sirisha Reddy supported by several others especially Mr Sridhar Reddy, a builder and contractor. 

The programme was held from September 21 to October 2, 2025 at the First Circle, Journalist Colony Phase 3 Gopanpally  since JCHSL president Mr B Goparaju didnot provide the space in the society office in the colony.

Despite facing hurdles at every step, they succeed in their mission and created a lasting impression in the colony the way to celebrate festivities.
The nine day festivities and the grand chandi yagam, the ear blasting barat, dances by the women and men woke up the entire colony. Everyone appreciated the festivities and suggested more such programmes in future. They thanked everyone who extended support the programme.
